Sevashree is a non-profit social organization committed to sustainable human development and community empowerment. The name Sevashree represents the fusion of humble service (Seva) with dignity and excellence (Shree).
We work directly alongside underserved individuals, families, and rural populations to address persistent socio-economic barriers. Recognizing that one-off relief rarely breaks the cycle of generational poverty, our programs emphasize grassroots participation, capacity building, and long-term self-reliance.
Our Origin & Purpose
Sevashree was founded by a collective of dedicated social workers, professionals, and community leaders who recognized an urgent need for accountable, community-first intervention.
While society continues to advance technologically and economically, millions remain excluded from basic essentials—quality education, preventative healthcare, and dignified livelihoods. Sevashree was established to ensure that development leaves no one behind, transforming empathy into organized, measurable progress on the ground.
